The mushroom has a gray-brown cap, sometimes there may be yellow spots on it. The shape of the cap is convex, if the mushroom is old, then it is flat-convex, sometimes it can be prostrate.

From above, the cap can be wrinkled or smooth, in dry weather cracks may appear on it, along the edges the surface is usually thin-felt, sometimes it is scaly-fibrous.

Bolet semi-bronze with age, it turns slightly yellow and changes color at the break, its flesh is juicy, fleshy, strong. The taste is weak, soft. In its raw form, the mushroom smell is practically not felt, but it manifests itself during cooking and even more clearly when dried.

Good edible mushroom. It is valued by gourmets for its qualities.
