If you’ve reviewed hundreds of photos of beauties, choosing the right look for a New Year’s party, give up this time-consuming task. Stylist Victoria Bdoyan gave step-by-step instructions on how to embody a Hollywood look, and with the help of our model Elena Mullanurova, she proved that to look better than Angelina Jolie, you don’t need a staff of makeup artists.
Hairstyle: luxurious curls
- Angelina Jolie usually chooses natural curls with natural volume. To create this very volume, we use L’oreal Volumetry shampoo and a spray that will help lift the curls, L’Oreal Art Volume Architect.
- Using a brush and a hair dryer, dry your hair in shape. We pass all the strands at the very roots with a special narrow curling iron-corrugation.
- Then we use an iron to create natural large curls without the effect of stuck hair.
- We fix the hair with a super strong hold spray L’oreal Professional Fix.
Makeup: expressive eyes and red lips
- In the make-up, we used the means of professional MAC cosmetics. First, cleanse the skin with MAC Water Mineralized Makeup Remover. Then apply MAC Prep + Prime Base and let it soak into the skin for 5 minutes.
- Then we use the MAC Prolongwear Concealer. Lena has fair skin, so we used NW15 to brighten the under-eye area and MAC Studio Face and Body Foundation, C2, to create an even complexion.
- Distribute the foundation for the face with your fingertips, patting movements. For the delicate skin around the eyes, use the Beauty Blender sponge.
- Fix the tone with MAC Rocky Horror Set Powder.
- Let’s start with eye makeup. Shaping the brows with the MAC Velure Brow Liner, Brunette.
- For eye makeup, we chose MAC Eye Shadow shade Dazzlelight, applied it to the movable eyelid. Drew the classic arrow with black MAC Eye Shadow Carbon.
- In this image, it is important for us to emphasize the eyes. To do this, we chose MAC mascara with the effect of false eyelashes False Lashes, shade Double Black.
- Highlighted cheekbones with MAC Pro Longwear Blush, Whole Lotta Love shade.
- And now the main touch. Apply MAC Petro Matte Red Lipstick, All Fired Up, with a lipstick brush. The model is ready!
As you can see, we got two images: the fatal seductress and the gentle princess. To reincarnate, our model only needed to collect curls with a pair of invisible ones and change the shade of lipstick by choosing wine.
