The variety can be grown in any region, as it is hardy. In the northern regions, it is better to cover the bushes for the winter with spruce branches, especially if there is little snow.

Raspberries are unpretentious to growing conditions, but with proper care, their yield will increase significantly. If the bushes are regularly fed, then you can collect up to 10 kg of berries.

Set up a raspberry plant in an area with a slight slope so that there is no stagnant water. If the soil is constantly wet, the roots will rot. Give preference to loose fertile soil of neutral or slightly acidic reaction.

Raspberry care:

• Water the bushes liberally. This is necessary for the formation of a powerful root system. The soil should be soaked to a depth of 30-40 cm. In dry summers, you can mulch the ground with peat, hay or sawdust. This will keep moisture in the soil longer.
• Feed the raspberries with rotted manure by scattering it over the soil surface, or use liquid top dressing. Fill the cow (bird) droppings with water in a ratio of 1:10 (1:20). Don’t overdo it. With an excess of nutrients in the soil, the variety tends to build up a lush green mass, but fruiting decreases.
• Loosen the soil and remove weeds.

To get 2 crops next year, it is necessary to shorten two-year-old shoots in summer and young stems in autumn by 1/3 of their length. Young seedlings need to be covered with spruce branches for the winter. No shelter is needed in the southern regions.

Raspberry fruits “Gigant Moscow” are best consumed fresh, so you can enjoy their sweet taste. You can make compotes and preserves from them.
