While working in Excel, situations often arise when certain columns of a table need to be hidden. The result is clear – some of the columns are hidden and are no longer shown in the book. However, this action has the opposite – namely, the disclosure of columns. And below we will look at exactly how you can turn on the display of hidden columns back.

First you need to understand if there are hidden columns in the table and determine their location. This task is easy to implement, and the horizontal coordinate panel of the program, on which the names of the columns are indicated, will help us in this. We pay attention to the order of names, if it is not observed somewhere, it means that in this place there is a hidden column (columns).
Now that we have decided on the presence and location of the hidden elements, we can move on. There are several ways to make columns visible again.
Method 1: Boundary Shift
You can display hidden columns by expanding the borders or returning them to their original place.
- To do this, move the cursor over the column border, as soon as it changes to a double-sided arrow, hold down the left mouse button and drag it in the desired direction.

Perhaps this is the most popular method that allows you to display hidden columns.
- On the coordinate panel, we select in any way convenient for us (for example, using the left mouse button pressed) a range of columns, inside which there are hidden elements.
- Right-click anywhere in the selected area. In the list that opens, click on the command "ווייַזן".
- As a result, all hidden columns in this range will be displayed in the table again.
