העבעלאָמאַ קלעפּיק (וואַלוי פאַלש) (Hebeloma crustuliniforme) פאָטאָ און באַשרייַבונג

העבעלאָמאַ קלעפּיק (לאַט. Hebeloma crustuliniform) is a mushroom of the genus Hebeloma (Hebeloma) of the Strophariaceae family. Previously, the genus was assigned to the families Cobweb (Cortinariaceae) and Bolbitiaceae (Bolbitiaceae).

In English, the mushroom is called “poison pie” (English poison pie) or “fairy cake” (fairy cake).

The Latin name of the species comes from the word crustula – “pie”, “crust”.

Cap ∅ 3-10 cm, , more in the center, first cushion-convex, then flat-convex with a wide tubercle, mucous, later dry, smooth, shiny. The color of the cap can be from off-white to hazel, sometimes brick red.

The hymenophore is lamellar, whitish-yellow, then yellowish-brown, the plates are notched, of medium frequency and width, with uneven edges, with drops of liquid in wet weather and brown spots in place of the drops after they dry.

Leg 3-10 cm high, ∅ 1-2 cm, first whitish, then yellowish, cylindrical, sometimes widening towards the base, swollen, solid, later hollow, flaky-scaly.

The pulp, in old mushrooms, is thick, loose. The taste is bitter, with the smell of radish.

It occurs often, in groups, under oak, aspen, birch, on the edges of the forest, along roads, in clearings. Fruiting from September to November.

Widely distributed from the Arctic to the southernmost border of the Caucasus and Central Asia, it is also often found in the European part of Our Country and the Far East.

Gebeloma sticky -, and according to some sources סאַמיק שוועמל.

Coal-loving Hebeloma (Hebeloma anthracophilum) grows on burned areas, it is smaller, it has a darker hat and a soft leg.

Belted Hebeloma (Hebeloma mesophaeum) has a dull brown cap with a darker center and a lighter edge, thin flesh in the cap and a thinner stem.

In the larger mustard hebeloma (Hebeloma sinapizans), the cap is not as slimy, and the plates are more rare.
