How do you know if you can trust a kitchen manufacturer?
Do not look for a company without negative reviews at all
• No one canceled the competition and reviews can simply be paid (both positive and negative).
• It happens that the client is just a lover of scandal or “got up in the morning on the wrong foot.”
• Keep in mind that getting positive feedback from a happy customer is much more difficult than getting negative feedback from an unhappy one.
Think back to when you bought a good thing. It is unlikely that you will look for a website, page, e-mail of a manufacturer, seller, in order to declare your joy or gratitude to the whole world. You will simply enjoy your purchase and move on with your life. And it’s a completely different matter if the purchase disappointed you. Surely, almost everyone (at least once in their life) expressed their claim to this or that manufacturer or seller about the purchased product or service.
Look for a company with a lot of reviews (even if some of the reviews are negative)
The following rule works here: if there are a lot of reviews, then the company has a large flow of customers. And there are a lot of orders when satisfied customers (most often not on the Internet, but in word of mouth) recommend their friends to contact this or that company.

Be interested in the quality of raw materials
Feel free to check before buying:
• If you buy furniture made of wood – what kind of wood is used in production, who is the supplier, how the wood is processed, what compounds are protected, etc.
• If you buy furniture made of chipboard – specify what adhesives are glued, how tightly the end is closed (it is from the open parts of the chipboard that harmful substances are released into the environment).
• If the furniture has glass parts – specify how safe they are if they break (ideally, the glass should not break into fragments, but into crumbs that remain on the special film).
The main thing is that for all materials used, the manufacturing company must have quality certificates, permits from the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision, etc.
If you want to save money – stop at the middle price segment
Don’t go cheap for a few reasons:
• A fly-by-night company can intentionally dump prices, so that later they can simply disappear with your money.
• There is a high probability of getting a low quality product, since the production of quality products does not take place for 3 kopecks “on the knee”, but in production with serious equipment, which is not cheap for the manufacturer.
• The third major problem for the low-cost segment is low-quality assembly, since most often such companies do not have qualified assembler teams. And even if we assume that high-quality furniture will come to you for a small price, then during assembly it will definitely be spoiled for you.
What materials are modern kitchen sets made of?
At the heart of the facades:
1. Chipboard or MDF, which are covered with paints, enamels, melamine film, veneer, leather, plastic.
2. Glass framed with chipboard, MDF or aluminum profile.
3. Solid wood.
Considering the quality and price level of materials, we remember an important rule: “The disappointment of low quality lasts longer than the joy of a low price.”
About each material in order.
Chipboard (LDSP – laminated chipboard) inferior to MDF in terms of environmental friendliness, tk. it is based on chipboard and epoxy resin. It is important to check with the seller the documents for chipboard, confirming the class of emission (release into the environment) of formaldehyde from the resin. Ideally, if it is E1.
MDF board (English medium-density fibreboard, MDF) – medium-density fibreboard – consists of a finer wood fraction than chipboard. The fraction is triturated to the state of a fiber, paraffin is added and then (under high pressure and temperature) it is pressed into slabs. Wood particles are glued together – lignin – a natural substance that is contained in wood fibers. Therefore, MDF is an environmentally friendly material. And due to processing under high pressure, it is several times harder and stronger than natural wooden sheets.
גלאז - well-known material. The glass used today by manufacturers – tempered and on a special film that keeps it from falling off in case of damage – is very reliable and safe in operation. There can be a lot of options for the appearance of a glass facade – it can be transparent, translucent, opaque, tinted, mirrored, colored, sandblasted, photo printed, stained glass, etc.
האַרט האָלץ – the material is environmentally friendly, but capricious. Ideally, before being used as a base for furniture production, it needs to be cut and dried for many years.
What material for the production of kitchen is the best in terms of price and quality?
In the premium segment, as a rule, facades are offered from solid natural wood – oak, ash, etc. Subject to the drying technology, the price of the final products is very high. Manufacturers can save money and dry the wood in an accelerated way. Then it is not known how the facades will behave when the humidity in the room changes. In any case, natural wood requires careful treatment. Rarely, but there are (in the kitchen furniture market) facades covered with natural or eco-leather, which can also be attributed to the premium segment and which also require increased accuracy in use.
In the middle price segment, but with a claim to premium, one can include MDF facades covered with paint, varnish, enamel. A painted facade has a high price, since the process of creating such a facade has several stages (priming, painting, protection), and the final coating consists of a large number of layers. And despite the protective layer, the paint can crack, chip and scratch. Also, the middle price segment of kitchen furniture is represented by facades made of chipboard or MDF, covered with acrylic. Glass facades can be attributed to the same price category.
If you evaluate all the facades in terms of anti-vandal properties, you will not find absolutely perfect facades, but most kitchen manufacturers say that the most resistant to various kinds of influences are MDF facades covered with high-quality PVC film or acrylic. Glass facades are also very reliable today.
