Widely distributed in Europe, North and South America and Japan. Usually grows in groups. Prefers humus soil, lands on humus. Most often found in mixed and coniferous forests.

קאָפּ mushroom has a diameter of 1-3,5 cm. Young mushrooms have a convex cap. In the process of growth, it opens up and becomes compacted or depressed in shape. The color of the hat can be very diverse. In young mushrooms, it is a lilac-gray color, it can be light wine-gray. You can also trace the olive tint. In a more mature form, it acquires a red-orange color or red-red. It can sometimes be greenish, and even pinkish. To the touch, the cap is slimy and smooth.

פּאַפּ the mushroom has the same color as the cap, maybe a little lighter. Taste and smell are not pronounced.

הימענאָפאָרע lamellar mushroom. Plates adhering to the stem of the fungus, or may descend onto it. They have smooth edges. Color – the same as that of the hat, sometimes it can be with pinkish-lilac edges.

פוס has a length of 3-12 cm and a thickness of 0,2-0,6 cm. Usually also has the same color as the hat. May give a lilac-gray tint. The structure is smooth, hollow and mucous. The leg ring is missing.

ספּאָר פּודער The fungus is white or sometimes creamy. Spores may be ovoid or elliptical in shape and appear smooth. The spore size is 5-8×3-5 microns. Basidia have a size of 25-66×4-7 microns. Pleurocystidia are absent.

Hygrocybe Beautiful is an edible mushroom. However, it is collected by mushroom pickers very rarely.
